Good morning everyone! Here is the official word on the spring burn scheduled for this weekend. We have been waiting expectantly for the elements to dry out the land enough to allow the fields to burn, and we are close. The ground is still saturated though, and we are expecting rain tonight, tomorrow night and snow Saturday morning. Bearing this in mind, we have decided to postpone the burn until next weekend, March 22nd.
Take heart, there is still MUCH to do before the season opens at the end of this month. We still have a lot of downfall from the ice storm that needs to be cleaned up, and your help would really be appreciated. Also, helping hands are welcomed for the wood bust too, which at last check, was still on track for this weekend. For those of you wondering, lunch that was to be provided this weekend has been moved to next weekend.
So head on out to camp this weekend, and lend your efforts to helping get Gaea ready for the new year! You were heading out for Spring ritual anyway, right? J
