A day in the garden

Today was a beautiful day at Gaea. I spent a few hours up at the garden with Prairie doing some weeding and planting. Weeding is such a pleasant thing to do. It can almost be therapy-like.

We were able to plant Peonies, Lycoris, and Pinellia.

as I have not been out to confirm this, but I was told that our pumpkins did not make it up as we had hoped... I had thought with such a rainy season they would flourish... but I guess not... sad.

I would like to see if there may be a better place to plant them this year and try again.* maybe more structured if need be.* This could be a fantastic project and i think is one worth looking into.

A few sites I read suggest leaving a number of seeds in the carved pumpkin and then putting the entire pumpkin in the garden after halloween* to get a good harvest.*

maybe this is worth another attempt.* it does say sunny so the same location may be ok, just a diffrent process.
