Erin and I have been out in the community and made a few contacts and
are receiving some very enthusiastic support from the community.
Aquarius has opened their doors for occasional meetings and support.
Barb was very happy that someone is finally organizing a Spiral Scout
Circle and a few of the patrons in the shop expressed interest when we
get "officially" started. I will be dropping off a stack of fliers
for the store to place in their community services area.
In addition to Aquarius some of the folks up at the Gaea Retreat
Center have also pledged their support, there are possible gardens
available for projects, all sorts of opportunities to learn about
nature, wild life and reclaiming wild areas for native species. The
availability of community service projects is abundant and will help
the kids gain the sense that they CAN make a difference in a community.
