We received a call from the county, and I must pass along that we are under a burn ban until further notice. This includes cooking fires. I know it's a drag, but we must comply. I'm sure this goes without saying, but care needs to be taken with cigarette butts as well. This area is extremely dry the amount of fuel on the ground is staggering. Please be responsible.
We can expect this ban to last until we get some substantial moisture, which should happen on Sunday (keep your fingers crossed). I'll post as soon as it is lifted. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. Despite the lack of fire, we hope to see you out this weekend. It's going to be gorgeous outside. :D
