I just wanted to let everyone know that this weekend at camp the Fire Horde will be out to collect wood for this season’s fires. There is a huge amount of firewood out there and you can almost hear it calling to be added to our festival fires.
There are also several other projects that Gaea needs help with. We have lots to do and spring is fast approaching. We are planning to do a little “lake work” in an effort to stop the erosion of Herne’s Hollow by redirecting drainage and clearing some brush preparing for the construction of a check dam ritual weekend.
The more volunteers anxious to help after a cold winter indoors, the easier these tasks will be. If you want to help this weekend come on out! Camp’s supply of work gloves etc. is very low so please bring your own work wear if you can. If you have hand pruners, loppers, shovels, garden tools, etc. bring them too. Any extras you would care to donate to camp would be enthusiastically accepted.
Please keep in mind that the water is still turned off so the showers are not operational so you may want to bring an extra change of clothes.
If you cannot make it out this weekend don’t worry there will be plenty to do in the upcoming weekends completing these projects and many more.
