Thanks all of you for your interest and participation so far in our community meal endeavor. We’ve never done this at a festival before and we really want it to succeed in filling our stomachs while we all enjoy the company of the community that is Gaea.
Many of you have asked me what to bring. I hope this answers your questions. Friday night the chili has been donated. Anything you would like to bring to go with chili, for instance Fritos, onions or cheese, will be welcomed. I’ve been told a certain goddess will be baking cornbread. Sweetened and unsweetened iced tea will be provided too.
As far as specific ingredients for quesadillas on Saturday, several kind individuals have donated tortillas, cheese, sour cream and salsa and onions. If you would like to donate any other items for quesadilla construction, bring them with you to Earth Day!
Once again, iced tea will be provided. Desserts would be a welcome contribution as well.
The walk-in fridge will be available to store your food and potluck items for evening meals. Please put your name on your serving dishes so they can be returned to you. See you on Friday!
