The Board of Directors for Earth Rising, Inc. would like to thank everyone who attended the meeting Sunday; it wasn’t an easy day for anyone involved. All of your opinions are greatly appreciated, and we thank you for them.
To come to a decision on a proposal of this magnitude is not something that should come easily, or quickly. The Board of Directors is trying very hard to make sure every facet of this decision is given the proper time and attention by the appropriate parties.
We want all patrons of the Gaea Retreat Center to feel safe and welcomed. This is in keeping with the Mission Statement and Goals of Earth Rising. Camp is a public venue, and we do not require an application or membership.
Parents with children at Camp are urged to remember that all children under the age of 18 are required to have a parent or guardian with them on property. Any children 11 and under are to be under that parent or guardian’s supervision at all times. For the time being, following these rules that have been in place should help alleviate some of the fears that have been expressed on this list.
Thank you for your patience while we give this item the diligence required to ensure the longevity of Gaea and the safety of our patrons.
